This Portal assembles popular US and Foreign News sites only a newshead can appreciate. PBS television used to feature the daily news program Worldfocus International News, which sourced news from worldwide media outlets. With a distinctive unbiased, and unslanted perspective differing from the mainstream media, I was hooked. Then PBS unexpectedly dropped this program along with the investigative programs NOW and Exposé to boost fund raising efforts. Some of these broadcasts possibly touched nerves in high places. News withdrawal never felt so bad.
